Words to Remember- "God made us Wonderful!"

In the middle of our Uu Unit we had the fiftieth day of school and Halloween, with all it's festivities! :) It was all a lot of fun! And somehow we still got it all done! :)
Day 1, our basic intro to the five senses! And we completed our picture cards and 50th day fun stuff! :) We have an awesome book that Chris and I found on our trip to Maine a couple years ago about our body and how it works! It came in real handy for this unit! And it's one of his favorite books so he was excited!
Day 2, we cheated a little on calendar time and all that, but did cover the material! :) It was Halloween so we dressed silly before we could start school! :)
Day 3, we caught up on our sense of hearing lesson, made instruments, and did a mystery sound game! Then we got busy busy on the current lesson! We reviewed sense of smell (I found great YouTube videos to help with explaining the content!), did our math, blend ladder review, made our unit badge, did a pop corn experiement! He was very in tuned with everything which was quite helpful with the amount of content to cover!
Day 4, we discussed sight and did more work on our blend ladder! He loves that he is learning to write and sound out words without me even helping! :) I am glad he likes it! Might be a reader like Daddy! :)
Day 5, we spent time talking about taste, did a mystery taste test and discussed the food groups! He spent most of this day standing because he couldn't sit still...I may be researching using an exercise ball or some alternative to help keep him focused without quite so many jitters! ;)
Day 6 is always fun! It's usually outside and pretty low key...classical music, book time and review! This week we got to pudding paint to the music, talk about family, and mail our grandparents letters! He loved going to a big mailbox instead of just dropping it in ours! And added bonus, he got to use his "new desk" that he asked the lady at Hobby Lobby for! :) If you have bought fabric before, it's an empty bolt he spotted, and she was so kind to let him have it instead of trash it! :) He was happy!
He is pretty excited about our upcoming unit on dinosaurs! I have seen some fun activities so I excited too! :)
