Today, in school, Grayson and I discussed family.
This is our book we are reading this week. As you probably know, it's the story of a mother and son through the course of their life and how no matter how old or big, he is still Mommy's baby!
So it seems appropriate that I say how thankful I am for my Mom! Life was hectic, growing up, with all the children and her work, but she never let us forget, in all the chaos, that she loved us. She has always been the kind of person who will do anything for anyone. This meant, growing up, there was usually someone else she had taken in, making 4 kids, 6 or 7 on a regular basis! ;) She is so generous and kind. My mom and I are different in a lot of ways, but she made the best friend and the most wonderful support I could have asked for, when I needed it most! She is a wonderful lady with such a giving heart! And my children adore her.
Although changes are on the horizon, I am certain, no matter where life goes or where we end up..."I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, as long as I am living my mommy you'll be!"
