30 Days of Thankfulness

Today, I am thankful for time. There's a song I absolutely love (could be like one of my favorites of all time)...For a Hundred More Years...the words are amazing! My father-in-love was kind enough to put it on a cd for me, so when I am in the car I typically listen to it at least one time! As I listened tonight, I just kept thinking what a gift time is. We are not guaranteed tomorrow we will wake up surrounded by the same wonderful people. We are not guaranteed tomorrow will even come. But THIS time. And for time past, I am thankful.

There's always time that you look back and know you could have used more wisely or done something different than you did. There's time you look back on and know that NOTHING, nothing, could ever compare. There's ordinary time spent doing ordinary things, but makes amazing memories. 

Today, I thank God for time past, that has taught me what's important and who I want to be. Time present, to play, eat cake, time with friends and family, time to just be here, surrounded by people I love, living our life. Our life is ordinary, but I seriously want to "stay right here...for a hundred more years". I pray to God, to guide our future time. Helps us use it wisely. Help us not to forget life is too short to waste it. I pray we follow His lead. Live TODAY. Love TODAY.  And thank you for today, to make wonderful memories and build a wonderful strong future. One that can dance in the happy times. Stand strong through the hard times. Grow from the challenges. Rejoice. Remenisce. Enjoy. LIVE.
