Our church is a special place to us...the building and the people! We have had the opportunity to worship at our church for many years now...from childhood and I know I have blogged about its importance before so I won't bore you with repeating!! ;) I never realized the impact that this church would have on my life until early adulthood, but I am so thankful for Trinity...the people and the place!
Faith, is something that has played a huge role in my life...I was always going to church but around age 14 I began to realize just how important God was to me. It is important to me to worship, to "meet" with God, to let him lead. I think sometimes people live a certain life because it's comfortable, it's how they were raised, or it's what they think everyone else wants them to do! Around the age of 14, God showed me loud and clear, that it was ok to go my own way...and that He would lead me....He did, and He does! And I am so very very thankful for where He leads me!
Growing up, my earthly father relationship was complicated, mostly nonexistent after about age 8, (there was no head over heels, daddy's girl, princess moments) and I feel so blessed to have known that I could rely on my Heavenly Father, who would never fail me! I don't think I would be the same person without that knowledge! I worship God for the past, the present, and the future...His magnificence awes me on a daily basis! What a blessing to worship, to KNOW that He has layed out a path before us and, although not always easy, worth it! So very worth it! What a blessing to know we are His children and we were created for a purpose in His kingdom! What a reason to worship! :) Happy Sunday!
