"My child, it is when I watch you sleep that I am touched most deeply by the miracle that you are… Perfectly quiet, perfectly beautiful. Long before I knew you, every fiber of your being was woven flawlessly together. Not even the smallest detail was left unfinished. My dear little child, I would be forever content to watch you while you sleep and to be touched again and again by the wonderful little miracle that you are."

7 Months

My tiny beauty! 7 months old already. She's the baby who slept 4-5 hour stretches at night since the day she came home. She's the baby who always has a smile on her face. She's ready to go places and she's so very loved! The big kids enjoy her more every day. The really enjoy the playful stage she's entering! She's babbling and making sure they all know when she's around. She's crawling everywhere, eating lots of different foods (first veggie was green beans, first fruit was apples...now eats just about everything), waves bye bye, sits up, and has 4 teeth! She loves swinging outside and the swimming. She got her tiny toes in the ocean for the first time this week and loved every minute. I still can't believe this perfect little baby is all ours! <3

And her life is still highly photographed! Beauty of technology, I guess! Always have a camera :) Since her 3 month update, she has celebrated her first Easter, first Fourth of July, had her first trip to the beach, zoo and started eating food! She's been baptized and has been a busy busy girl growing! Here's a snipit of her life from 3-7 months, in no particular order. Oh, if she could just stay little!

Nine

late post! ;)

9 years! They past in the blink of an eye. I read a blog post recently, that was floating around, titled "You Won't Remember But I Will"...oh the precious memories it stirred up inside! From the moment I knew you existed until today, every day is packed full of tiny details. Little pieces of life that have come together to make up the best of mine.
I will never forget anxiously waiting and preparing for your arrival. Picking out tiny boy clothes and decorating a tiny boy nursery, all for you. Laboring naturally with anticipation of seeing your face for the very first time, and completely overwhelmed by your beauty. You were the most beautiful thing I had ever laid my eyes on. You changed me. Forever. In the most amazing ways. Every day we learn and grown together. Every day you teach me, challenge me to be better, dig deeper. You introduce me to each new season of motherhood.

We celebrated Grayson's birthday a little early with a trip to Great Wolf Lodge. It was big fun for all and the perfect way to start a new year!
