Preparing for Christmas!!

So, I have a confession...I LOVE list! I live my life by a list...or really several...at the same time...sometimes very disorganized list, but a list nonetheless! They give my mommy mind a feeling of control! Ha! I don't know if it's the 1,515,348 things that are going through my mind at once or if it's just my personality...either way, I am a LIST MAKER! ;) They make me very happy!

This week I was determined to get my Christmas thoughts in order! We have three children...this in itself makes holidays busy busy! But this year we are adding a little elf to the mix! ;) I am excited! But this, for me requires pre-planning! :) We will also continue our advent countdown, as we did last year. And one thing, I like to do is a Jessie Tree. We started this last year and it made for great family devotional time! There were days we had to do a couple to catch up, but it was fun and we enjoyed it! So I revamped the ornaments and devotions and we are going to go at it again this year! I also love the idea of wrapping 25 Christmas books and the kids open one a night (not new ones, but it's fun to unwrap!)...we started a couple years ago doing this! Last year, with a newborn, they didn't get wrapped :/ but this year I am getting an early start!! :)
All the festivities will start December 1st!!! I can hardly wait!!!!! :)

There is an ENORMOUS amount of incredibly cute ideas for the little elf on Pinterest! My board is overflowing...

It was kinda fun to sit down and pick out the ones for this year and save some for the years to come! :)

So I accomplished getting everything on the calendar! Now, I just have to go back through and make a list of the things I need to gather up! See! There's a list in everything! ;)
