But more than the sewing, the past couple days have been filled with family fun and big accomplishments!
Last night, Chris and I attended Grayson's first Cub Scout pack meeting! He was the proudest little man wearing his uniform and receiving his belt buckles for his work at camp this summer. He received his belt buckle for archery and bb shooting. It was a joy to be there and share this special time. He must have said 1000 times on the way home..."two belt buckles!!" :) He is looking forward to earning many more! And is counting down the days until his first den meeting.
Today we had Grayson's first soccer game of the season, Ada and I had some girl time at a birthday party and a lunch date, and then we spent some family time swimming and cooling off on this unbelievably hot day! :) My big boy is getting the hang of swimming! Just has to build up some endurance. And my little lady has turned into a little fish. No fear, loves jumping from the diving board and swam laps around the pool! And Grady was perfectly happy watching all the action. :) It was a wonderful day. Really wonderful!
