Here It Goes!

As we are getting back into the school routine and gearing up for all things Fall...apple picking, mountain vacation, dressing up, birthdays, and Thanksgiving...I was talking to Grayson about how I might make each day of the week have a theme, sort of, just to keep up with things and to make sure it was all somehow documented in "my journal" (or the blog, as we know it). I was tossing around some ideas and he spontaneously nominated Taco Tuesday...I am not even sure the last time we had tacos, but it does sound fun. ;) So starting next week, we are on the quest to discover every kind of taco there is! ;) So Tuesdays in the Powell house have officially been named Taco Tuesday. ;)

So...to keep track and to keep writing I have decided on this Fall blogging schedule:

"What's in the Freezer Monday", I have pretty much fallen in love with freezer meals, and most are amazingly delicious and so so easy, so I will share our menu (most which will be freezer or crock pot meals!), resources, and recipes, and maybe a few will inspire you. :) 

"Taco Tuesday", as previously mentioned...it was a great suggestion, and I think we will all have fun with those! ;) 

"Work Box Wednesday", we use a work box system in home school, so it will be our little home school update and fun activity post. :)
"Tot Thursday", this is just what it says...keeping up with that ever changing, adorable tot we have running around here! ;) 

"Firmly Planted Friday", not because I have anything to teach you or preach to you, but I would like to take at least one day a week, for myself, to look a little deeper into that faithful firm foundation that keeps us grounded and keeps us going on!

"Sew Saturday", because, if you know me, you know that sewing and crafting are two of my favorite things, so you know my blog has to have a day dedicated to sewing, smocking, or crafting! It has to!! ;) 

So there it is! I have absolutely no idea if or how long I might keep this up, but I have tossed around the idea a lot so I am gonna give it a try and see how it goes! And of course, if it is a total flop, we will return to the regularly written spontaneous random thoughts, as we have for the last year or so! ;) I know that most of this will be totally boring, but all of it serves as a little "year book" for us, so its extremely fun to keep up! And as long as I can, I think I will! ;) So here it goes...;)
