What A Difference a Weekend Makes!

The weekend! It was just wonderful! The first weekend of the new year is coming to a close and I just hate to see it go!! We have stayed at home, with no commitments, we made great progress on "stuff", and my sweet baby boy is finally on the mend! It was just what we needed.

We decided late Friday night that since we would be home Saturday we would go ahead and start our hall bathroom renovation that has been put off for a year! Whoo Hoo!! :) Everything was taken out and paint is done! I am going for a very grown up look in this bathroom, so it should be fun! Here's a before picture (complete with dirty laundry!) and some of our progress! :)

We removed an old yucky medicine cabinet! And before patching, my boys left their mark! ;)

We went with a gray blue color! I like it! I have a vision...let's just hope it all comes together! ;)

I also was able to get some of the disorganization of the craft/school room under control and get all our stuff ready to get back to school tomorrow!

I have made list and more list! I have lesson planned, meal planned, and party planned! We have two birthdays in February (Daddy and Ada), and this year it just so happens  that Daddy is turning 30!!! And then of course, the highly anticipated Doc McStuffins party for my big girl! :)
It was a wonderful way to start this week!! The relaxing, productive "togetherness" was just what I needed!!
