We have completed our first unit since coming back from Christmas break! It went very very well! Complete with freezing days and a sick baby! Grayson is focused and listening and had a great attitude throughout the unit!

He was supper excited to change the month AND season on our calendar when we returned! Our January calendar is focused on patterns, and the first day was just a basic introduction to the Goat unit and letter G. We completed our picture cards and journal (he was very proud of his family picture). And we also made a little craft to remind us that Jesus died for us because He loves us! 

Day 2 and 3 were combined, and included some work with the clock (which he LOVES), blend ladder and farm animals. I also threw in some extra little sheets I found. :) This was our group school day! They had so much fun with this!! :)

Day 4 and 5 were also combined and  are lacking pictures!! :/ But we completed our word list page, more blend ladder and cut and paste and a mommy/baby animal match.

Day 6, was a great one! We did a lot and enjoyed it so much! His farm animal illustrations, that went with our story, turned out so good! And then of course, the painting to his classical music, was definitely a huge hit!

One thing we did this week that he is just loved was peeling potatoes...he wanted to make sure we were making something with potatoes in it while his Papa and Rosey were here so they could see him do it! :)

It was a wonderful return to school for us! And now we are moving on to cows!! I can hardly believe we are almost half way through the year! It has truly been a blast!!!
