We did potty training boot camp this past weekend...that means A LOT of time in the kitchen (because the floor doesn't have rugs or carpet). We have trained all three this way...I prefer it, not to mention so far, it's been very successful! It's a long two days and honestly after the first one, Chris and I were both positively sure he wasn't ready....let's just say, piddle pads would have been a wonderful thing!! ;) But then, the third day came! And everything you read says give it three days! Glad I didn't give up on day two! He's had two...yes I said two, accidents and that was just small and then finished in the potty, type accidents. Amazed. Ecstatic. Super proud. He's doing awesome!!! He was definitely ready! And as much as I know the rough potty days will come...step aside while I enjoy these good ones. Don't burst my bubble yet! ;) I have not quite gotten used to seeing my baby running around in undies though! He looks way too big and I just don't think I am ready! ;)
School! Big boy school! It was a great first day! A little nervous looking, but no tears!! I am sure he had fun and he had no accidents, so mama is happy! I know he will enjoy some little people time and playing with some different things, so I am excited for his little school adventure...not sure where these past two years have gone, but they are gone and as bittersweet as it is, watching his personality blossom and and seeing the sweet big boy he's becoming, is such a pleasure!! He's still mama's hunk of love! My sweet sweet boy!
