Sew Saturday

I began, a couple weeks ago, working on my baby girl a Princess Belle dress! She requested that for Halloween so I searched for a tutorial I could follow, you can find it here! And then, as usual, made my little changes to fit the style I wanted. :) Well, I finished! And I think it's great (excuse the pride). But seriously I used to look at costumes and run the other way, it just looked complicated and time consuming and over my head. And it did prove to be sort of complicated, a little time consuming (compared to the usual project), but proud to say, not too far over my head that I couldn't keep up. ;) So here it is from start to finish!

After trying it on her, before it was finished, I decided to make the top and bottom separate. Easier to get in and out of and thought she may get more wear out of it! :)

All done :) And she's counting down the days until Halloween! ;)
