Exploring the 47- Myrtle Beach State Park and Hampton Plantation

When we go camping, I always like to see if there are any parks or historical sites close by for exploring. It's really as much fun for us as it is them. We are just about done with South Carolina history for this year, so being about to explore some of these things in person really is a neat experience.

Morning one, to pass the really cold early hours, we visited Myrtle Beach. We walked on the pier and checked out the campground. It was a cute little state park!

Morning 2, we rode to Hampton Plantation. Such a neat little historical sites. The birds were singing, the trees were old and magnificent, the camellias were blooming and the old house has hundreds of years of history built into it. Cool stuff!
