(In order to get caught up, I'm having to go back quite a while and even then, I'm not sure I'll get it all done. Ha. So please excuse the excess posting over the next couple of days, but the big kids have gone to Papa and Rosey's for the weekend so I'll be using toddler nap time to try and catch up.)
Halloween was a super fun, way too full of sugar, relaxed day. The kids and I read Halloween books, ate Halloween donuts, made Halloween gingerbread house and cookies and then dressed up for trick-or-treating as a family. It was a day full of giggles and fun!
The little one caught on very quickly to how this Halloween thing works. She so sweetly, but cautiously, would say, "trick treat. Ank you. You elcome." at every door. She realized they were giving treats and she was in! She did really well staying up past her bedtime and enjoying the festivities :)
They all went to bed with visions of candy dancing in their heads! It was a fun day and a memory maker, for sure!
