These Are The Days

Another 6 weeks have come and gone! We enjoyed our week off last week, and jumped right back in this week. Everyone is doing great! Grady is loving the math and is picking up so much already in the language. It's so fun to watch him learn the basics...I really forgot how fun Kindergarten is! Ada has started her new books and Grayson his! They are both hoping to finish up their current math level by the time we take Christmas break so they can move on to the next one. Science is still Space Unit and History is SC history, which we are loving!

The boys started Jiu-Jitsu and enjoy it very much! Grayson thrives in such an environment, one of plans and memorization of moves. He's amazing defender and always puts in amazing effort. He is already doing very very well for having only trained for a month. Grady is an excellent listener, loves being with the boys and girls and is having a great time! He has already perfected the cartwheel and forward and backward rolls and puts in great effort as well during sparing. Two great, determined, driven boys...and we are proud of them!

Ada is excelling in her piano, still loves art and is currently taking ballet, tap and jazz. She's a beautiful ballerina! So thorough and detail oriented. She's lovely to watch play and dance.

First 50 days of school complete, meant snowballs for supper!

They are all doing well and we love the easy going, laid back approach to learning and growing. After all, they are only this age once, and boy is it flying by! The boys, being quite opposite of one another, get closer and closer, the older they get and that does my mama heart so much good! I think it's a blessing to have a sibling who's different from you and allows you to see another side of strengths and weaknesses different from your own. Grayson, of course is my extroverted teacher type and Grady is complete opposite. He's a quiet guy but adds awesome humor without effort. We call him the cool cat, because he just is! ;) It's awesome to see those different personalities blossom! All four of them are learning more and more to appreciate one another's different personality and what they have to offer. It's beautiful to watch them grow and learn together. I pray they always will! No matter their age or where life takes them.

The little one! Oh how precious! She's slightly demanding, fiercely independent, observant, loving, loud, busy, amazing fashion sense, and so smart! She holds their heart, and ours. We actually have to get on to them for giving her any and everything she wants, when she wants, how she wants. Lol! I have to admit, she is quickly approaching 2, and with that comes the exhausting tantrums and desire to communicate things she can't quite communicate yet, which of course leads to frustration on her part and . She's learning and we will get there, and I feel sure her tender heart will still be sweet and lovely, despite the tantrums that sneak in 5-10 times a day! Ha ;) Our girls...the perfect combination of princess and warrior...Ada Grayce just is princess material, she came that way, and this little one is pretty much a princess warrior...she's got spark! (Her daddy says she's just like her mama, which could be quite true! ;) ) As the quote goes "though she be little, she is fierce". I pray my girls will always balance one another out and share their strengths and weaknesses and grow with one another! They are the perfect sister combination and will learn so much from one another!

The weeks are flying by and I'm doing my very best to just soak up every minute of it. Occasionally, I find myself wondering what we will do without a baby in the house, when they are all big kids, but I can't let my mind wonder too much, I'm just going to live right here, in this moment, and enjoy it...the terrible two's, the school work, the house work, the activities, the chaos, and the adventures. I'm just gonna live in this moment and love each one. <3
