Exploring the 47- Table Rock State Park

Table Rock State Park! Definitely a family favorite! It made it's way right up to number one on the rank list for each of us. It was just a perfect 3 days full of mountain air, no phone reception and just loving on family and making memories. It was our longest road trip so far, and everyone did great. Analeigh is almost two...almost two year olds aren't very patient...she made sure we understood that. Ha, but really it was a wonderful trip!

The big kids decided, being in the mountains and being cooler at night called for some tent camping! They were responsible for set up and take down and did a great job. Grayson will prefer this kind of camping for our longer trips, weather permitting. He loved it.

Day one was spent getting settled in and figuring out the new surroundings. Our tiny girl could walk for miles! If she's not an ultra girl, I would be shocked! Lol. She had to see all the things! So one of us were doing that while the other tended to setting up ;)

Dinner was quick and easy...hotdog roast and s'more nachos! These caused major distress when they run out. ;) Everyone enjoyed them very much!

Day 2 was adventure day! We went and checked out a couple state parks close by and hiked to see Raven Cliff Falls, the tallest waterfall in South Carolina. It was awesome! The evening was spent splashing around in Carrick Creek Falls at Table Rock.

It was safe to say, everyone was ready for bed after a day full of fun!

There was something so awesome about waking up to fresh fallen leaves and little critters enjoying the crisp cool morning!

Day 3 was our quiet day. We had a little paint party while Chris and David hiked to the top of Table Rock. Everyone made a canvas painting, two of which will go in the camper bunks and two were added to our art wall at home. It was a fun time to chill and be together.

We made a quick trip to the visitors center and looked around. There are usually informational displays and wildlife info the kids enjoy digging into. And then we had an ice cream treat. Well earned after their waterfall hike! Then it was off to the playground. No camping trip is complete without some playground time. ;)

Dinner was our classic walking tacos and another dish of s'more nachos. We rounded out the evening with a game of charades and lots of laughs! Called it a night with smiling faces and happy hearts!

I would say, we ushered fall in the best way we possibly could. We are excited for the new seasons arrival and look forward to all the memories this year will make! Welcome, Fall. And thank you, Table Rock for a heart full!
