Surprise! It's November!

It's November! Coolest surprise ever this weekend...SNOW! For real! A friend called and told me to look out, and sure enough...it was snowing! My little Elsa was in heaven!! The big boys were off to the Renaissance Festival and the little boy was in complete wonder at these amazing, huge, snowflakes falling from the sky! It was beautiful. It was short lived. And it was perfect!

It was a wonderful way to bring in November. The month of Thanksgiving. Maybe you don't remember from last year, but I LOVE Thanksgiving. It comes before the Christmas hype. It's a time to really reflect on these wonderful blessings God has given us. A time to say thank you. And I appreciate focusing on something particular each day to be especially thankful for. So, apologies if I bore you to death this month, but being thankful is important to me, so it's just what we will do, say thank you!

This weekend, I was particularly thankful for love. My sister had her bridal portraits made, and I am thankful I could be a part of that. As I helped her slip into her wedding gown, the memories flooded. Love. It's been almost 10 years since I married, yet I can still close my eyes and almost remember that beautiful day, play by play. Weddings are a beautiful representation of love. We have all been shown incredible love in this life. We were created out of love. A heavenly Father, loved us enough to create us. God loves us. Despite our imperfections, He loves us a gazillion times more than any love we can feel on Earth. That's an incredible thought. And I think he sends us Earthly love to remind us of that.

Thank you, Lord for surrounding me with people to love. Thank you, Lord for your incredible, infinite, beautiful love, for even me. <3
