It's my deepest desire to live it up. I am an "in the moment" kind of person. I believe fully in the "live each day like it's your last" theory and treat people like you want to be treated. I don't know what the future holds or how my life may change, even tomorrow, but for today, right now, in this moment, I am going to relish the blessings before me. I am going to enjoy every minute with my children and my family.
I love being a stay-at-home mom (some don't!), I love having LOTS of children (I don't reallly think it's LOTS..most days, but some people do!), I love homeschooling (some people cringe at the very thought!), I love quiet time (some despise it!), I enjoy social media (some people also cringe at the idea). I am an optimist..and an over-thinker (some don't have a positive thinking bone in their body!). It is me. It is who I was made to be. And although modifications are made from time to time, the bases is always the same..."act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God" (Micah 6:8)."
But I worry. Worry about making someone feel bad, because, for whatever reason, I bother them. I do not live my life compared to anyone else. I don't live my life for anyone else to see. I have found myself questioning if I should "hide" my joys because it offends someone. As sorry as I am that I offend people, I am also sorry that I am not sorry. I am just enjoying every minute. And in the same thought, as I spend so much time being over sensitive and worrying, I want my children to do the opposite. To not be afraid to be different. Not to worry what others say. Not to be sorry for enjoying life. Live for Jesus. Live abundantly. Humbly. Faithfully. And sadly, that's different. Unfortunately, some people are turned off by faith. Some people are turned off by happy. Very few people are genuine. Very few people are selfless. It's just an unfortunate reality. And no matter how genuine, faithful, and loving you try to be, someone is going to find negativity in it. I read something before that pretty much said, you can control what you do, but you can't control someone else's reaction to it. Some of my favorite quotes of all time, come from Mother Teresa, oh the wisdom and inspiration...
“Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
Life is beauty, admire it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is luck, make it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy it.
Life is life, fight for it.”
“Do not think that love in order to be genuine has to be extraordinary. What we need is to love without getting tired. Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your strength lies.”

And my all time favorite, probably...Be kind, succeed, be honest, build, be happy, do good and give your best. Not much more to it than that.
“If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives: Be kind anyway.
If you are successful you will win some false friends and true enemies: Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank people will try to cheat you: Be honest anyway.
What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight: Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous of you: Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, will often be forgotten by tomorrow: Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough: Give your best anyway.”

Be you. and BeYOUtiful. You are beautiful just the way you are. Let us all be individual and supportive! Stop being so hard on one another! So, for those of you who wish I would just go away, sorry! ;) I plan to continue living it up. And I hope you will too! I plan to make crafts, take trips, and find joy in the precious lives that have been entrusted to my care. I plan to love them with the most extraordinary love I have. After all, God made them my reason for existence. It's not about me. It's all about them. And in a blink, these precious years will be gone and I will sit and wish for just one more sleep deprived, chaotic, love filled day! <3
