The Adventures of Mac Jingles!

I am almost sad that this is the last full week we get with Mac! I must admit, I was a little skeptical of the whole elf thing at first, and last year, we opted out (not to mention, last year was just all off...hormones, newborn, etc! ;) ) but this year, we went with it and the magic has been fun! Next Wednesday, I will return to chores and laundry after the kids bedtime...and that's not nearly as joyful or fun as teaching life lessons, throwing in a little Jesus lesson, or doing silly stuff
with this little guy! He has become a little treasured magic around the Powell house. He has added delight and wonder, love and forgiveness, and kept the focus on Jesus! I, along with the kids are already a little sad that he must leave us soon!! :(
Mac Jingles made it to the mountain cabin safe and sound! The kids were delighted that he found us and he came dressed ready for the cold! :)
One day, I forgot to get a picture, but he hid candy canes around the cabin for them to find! :)

Our departure day was rather ordinary...just on a shelf! After all, that is where he belongs, right?! ;)

The next night, he went fishing.."come follow me, Jesus said, and I will make you fishers of men"...He left them all a little bag of Christmas fish! ;)
This one was particularly entertaining...even for me! ;) "Be an imitator of Christ"...Grayson thought it was great that he was in the school room with him too! ;)

Sack race! :)...the coolest part for them, was that the next night, Mac put the toys back in their room! ;)

Inspired and borrowed from a good friend, Mac Jingles gathered all the supplies for the kids to make the postal worker a little Christmas treat to leave in the mailbox! Grayson and I walked out to put it in the box, while the little one napped! He was thrilled to do this!! :)

Friday was a fun day! Gingerbread houses! Mac made quite a mess with his but he did leave one for each of them to decorate! "It must be a North Pole house", said Grayson! I do believe it is!! ;)

This weekend its off to Papa and Rosey's house! And then home for our farewell night! :) Can't believe Christmas is just 4 days away! It's going to be a fun fun day! :)
