Off to School...

We survived! She loved it! Ada had an absolutely wonderful time going to "school"! She thinks she is just as big as her brother now, and sadly, I will blink and she will be! I was so proud of her! She never looked back! I like her confidence! She knew exactly where she was going and what she was there to do! ;)

After dropping her, the little one took an AMAZING morning nap, giving Grayson and I a couple hours all to ourselves! That sure was special! He is so into school and I have to say, I NEVER desired to be a teacher...the thought never crossed my mind as a child or young adult...but I can see how rewarding that job must be. It's truly wonderful to literally watch a child learn...to realize, you just taught them something...and they get it! We started our first unit on Sun! He spent the ENTIRE day looking for "S" words and talking about the sun and shadows! Every time he spoke, his eyes would light up if he realized he said or was about to say something that started with "S"! School fits him! He is just that kind of kid! Loves to learn, inquisitive, loves a challenge, something to think about!

And major milestone for Grady today! He FINALLY overcame his stubbornness, and gave into the sippy cup! I think he is finally okay with it! He drank one good time yesterday and three today! Yay! After 6 different cup styles and 2 months of trying, with no more success than a MAJOR fit...he finally gave in! :)
