Today was one of those days! The little one has his first cold of the season, so he was up numerous times last night...so needless to say, the day started early! I am not a morning person...I used to be; but working nights, children, and age have changed that...in a big way! I do, however, have a wonderful husband who gives me a few minutes each morning to prepare for the day. To wake up, and connect with my more pleasant side...most of the time! ;) But today, was one of those days where there was no time to prepare...just up and running! So I did, with the grumpies and all!! We got up, fed, dressed, an amazingly quick shower for mommy who ran out the door with wet hair to get Ada to preschool. (All that matters is that the kids look put together right?!) While on the way, I called and made Grady an appointment to see the doctor. The boys and I went straight from preschool to the doctor (where I paid to have a doctor tell me my child had a cold...way to go mom! But I don't like sick babies!) The boys and I rushed from the doctor, back to Aiken to pick up sister from preschool. We went home, fed everyone, laid the little ones down for a nap. Grayson and I worked through our lessons for the day. Got Ada up and ready for gymnastics...and then, it was finally home...to sit. Haha! Just kidding! Home to get everyone fed (Again!), cleaned up the days mess (sort of!) and finally...finally, it was bedtime! Whew! I want nothing more than to eat an entire bag of chocolate...whatever kind I can find, (where is the chocolate when you need it?!) and take a ginormous bubble bath and go to bed....but, I guess instead I will get our workboxes filled for school tomorrow, and then maybe just go to bed...;)
Ada absolutely loves school! :) (and sadly this is yesterday's picture, because I totally forgot to get one this morning, but take my word for it, she looked adorable in a mommy made Tinkerbell skirt and "preschool rocks" shirt! ;) )
Grayson and I are still working on our sun unit! We are having fun! He had a great day with it today! Maybe because he got to skip "rest" time or maybe just because he likes it! ;)
And sweet baby was still smiling from time to time even through his yucky congestion and runny eyes and serious grumpies! :( Hoping my baby feels lots lots better very soon and so thankful tomorrow is Friday...a day when there's nothing EXTRA to do! Yeah! :) Wonder if the kids would consider sleeping late....
