My Heart is Full

I don't know if it's the Christmas season, the calm wonderful week the kids and I have had just enjoying one another, or just one of those times, but I have found myself so many times over the past week, just looking into the eyes of these three beautiful children and being overwhelmed. Overwhelmed by love. Overwhelmed by gratitude. Overwhelmed by responsibility. Overwhelmed with the desire to fill their hearts! They are my precious jewels entrusted to me to nurture and grow into young adults. They have slowly but quickly over the last few years grown into such wonderful kids.

My youngest, quietest, and most reserved little boy is venturing into boyhood right before my eyes. He's opening up a little and chatty at times, yet still very reserved and observant when he's not in his environment. He folds his hands and says the most  beautiful prayers, that only God can understand! :) He's testing the boundaries a bit and learning the theory of cause and effect. ;) He's growing so much faster than I want. I guess with the third one, you figure out just how quick it goes and would give anything just slow it down a tad. His laugh is contagious and his eyes will light up the room. He melts my heart, my sweet baby! And the person he's most excited to see everyday is his daddy! From jumping into his bed in the mornings to the evening greeting, he's always looking for daddy! He's a true daddy's boy and it's precious! <3

My sweet girl. My middle child. She's loving life. It's a fairy tale and she's the princess! And her daddy is the most wonderful prince charming! Her heart is so beautiful! She's sensitive like her mommy, kind, loving, hard working, and of course a bit dramatic. She's been the one to show us the other side. She's introduced us to the differences between boys and girls. She's added sweet, sparkles, and pink to our life. She teaches me everyday. Her faith is amazing. Everyday, with her gentle spirit and kind heart she shows you the beauty of life. She and I can have a blast doing girl stuff...crafting and shopping and it's so fun! The older she gets the more fun we have! :) <3 her!!

Grayson. My leader. My oldest. It's been in the last week, I have realized 6 may be a favorite age for me. But then again, it's hard to pick! I love the precious babies, the discovering toddler, the inquisitive preschooler...they are all precious ages, each my favorite in their own little way! But, since it's my first time having a 6 year old, I'm figuring out how fun it is! ;) They are old enough to be independent and have their own thoughts, yet young enough to still want to curl up beside you and give lots of hugs and kisses. He has his hard days, but he's so wonderful. He's busy. He whistles all the time. He loves learning new things. He loves God. His faith is so inspiring. He's got to know EVERY detail. EVERY. Detail. He's strong willed. Very strong willed. And I love him for it! He keeps me on my toes, and teaches me every day. My precious first born, what an amazing boy he's become! 

 God chose me. Me. To mother these three wonderful children and to share my life with the most amazing man. My cup runneth over. My heart is full. Once again, there are no words. No words big enough, soft enough, sweet enough, to say thank you. Thank you, Lord, for choosing me. May I somehow, someway, do this mothering and wife job justice. The cars may break, the work may be overwhelming, the days may be long sometimes, but God gave me them. And that beats all the little bumps.
