The Most Wonderful Time

Well, Christmastime is in full swing! It's such a fun time of year. Making memories, continuing traditions and starting new ones. I'm loving life with these three munchkins and their daddy! They make it all so fun, so enjoyable! Childhood is gone in a blink, and it's my prayer that when they look back on these days, they will smile. This week has flown by! I can't believe it's Saturday again already!! We have had so much fun :)

Last Saturday, we made some time to deliver our letters to Santa and sit on his lap. That was exciting for the big kids and somewhat weirded out the little one, although he did give him a few high fives and didn't cry. :)

The kids got to spend some time catching up with their biggest cousin this past weekend and this made all of their hearts happy! They miss each other so!

And Sunday was the yearly Christmas play at the church. Ada was a sweet little angel and Grayson was the inn keeper. They both had some speaking parts and sang some songs. They did very well. You can tell Grayson is getting a little more reserved when he has to be in the spotlight and Ada still eats it up. ;) They had a lot of fun and had some family come see them live so that was exciting!

Grayson was obviously too busy socializing to take pictures! ;)

The boys and I attended story time with Mrs. Claus while sister was at gymnastics. Grayson had a blast, it was a great time. He even volunteered and help her with a magic trick! Grady was not impressed. The only thing that got his attention was singing Jingle Bells. Other than that, he was on the move.

Grayson was so so proud of his pocket knife he got as a prize for selling popcorn in cub scouts. This has been something he has so looked forward to! This of course stays in our possession and he "practices" every night with dad's supervision. He also is allowed to "hold" it several times a day. This is one of those things that just make him feel like such a big boy, and looking at this picture, it is clear that that's just what he is! I don't know what happened, but sometime between the summer and now, he grew up!

On Friday, we had a super fun day celebrating Christmas with some of our best friends! Our children love each other so much and have a blast together, it's so fun to see, and a bonus, we really enjoy each other too! So Christmastime, ginger bread houses, and good friends...can't beat that! :)

Her three sweeties!

And mine :)

Their houses turned out perfect! So fun :)

And Friday evening after an early supper, showers and jumping in their pj's...we had a small suprise for them. Daddy suited up, called "all aboard", punched their tickets, loaded them up and drove us around to see some lights! It was a fun time, although I couldn't talk him into wearing the hat the whole time! :) I found the printable tickets here :) We had a fun time and this will definitely be a new tradition! :)

Super fun week! loving every minute.
