December is rocking right along, and so are our elves! ;)
I have to admit...one night, sleepy mama just fell asleep, only to wake at 3:30 and realize the elf helpers fell down on their job, so they flew to the big nativity that we had, where Mac rode a "canamel" as Ada calls it and Ella adored baby Jesus with the three kings. And another night Daddy had to help the elves onto the fan in some shoes, neither of which got photographed! ;) But rest assured, they did move.
Here's a photo look at what our elf friends were into the rest of the week...
Sunday, they caught up on their laundry. ;)
Monday morning, we enjoyed some elf donuts!
Counting down the days :)
They also pulled out some crafts from Mommy's stash and the kids enjoyed doing some Christmas painting!
Reminding us to be helpful, love one another, and have a good attitude!
"Let everything that has breath praise The Lord."
Next week begins our last week with our elf friends for this year! A little sad. The elf helpers in the Powell house actually really enjoy this. I know some think it's too much or don't want the "pressure" (I don't really call it that), but it has really been a fun, enjoyable, memory making opportunity for us. And maybe one day, these same elves will remind my grown children what Christmas is all about and provide teaching moments for their little ones...maybe! ;) I honestly can't believe it's almost been a month since they arrived! A quick but fun one it's been! :)
