Rookie of The Year

I love parties! I don't know how this came about! I never really saw it coming!! I began planning Grayson's first birthday when he was 8 months old and this love of parties began! I absolutely love making the little ones feel like they are the specialist person in the universe everyday but especially on their birthdays!:)
This weekend was my little ones first birthday party! I had so much fun with this one! It involved babies, birthdays and baseball...can't go wrong with that! :)
After doing this for five years, I have developed a little system! I pick the theme...search for printables...search Pinterest...and start making lists! (I am a serious list maker!)
This year, being a World Series baby, and having a mommy who loves baseball...Rookie of The Year just seemed to fit! So we went with it!
Found the printables here ! I have actually used her stuff before. I love how it is customizable before you print! You make it say what you want it to! :) Print, cut, paste and you are ready to go!!
My sister-in-law helped me with the shirts, using iron on vinyl cut out on the Cricut! I was super happy with this look! Just like I had envisioned! ;) We started with Grayson, having everyone write a little message and seal it in an envelope for him to open when he is 15, so we continued on with our time capsule tradition!

Activities included a fast pitch game, and T-Ball practice! And of course, we had access to the playground...a huge perk to having at our church! :)
Food was French fries, corndogs, and soft pretzels! I happened across this little shop on Etsy, that had the papers and serving boxes for our game day food! It was perfect, I thought! :)

Grady got a "game ball" that everyone signed! And this is a picture of the sister who helped me make it happen!! She prepared most (really all) of the food and helped me set up and shop for the food last night...yeah, pretty much an angel! It felt a little chaotic today...we had a little one who didn't feel her best and lots of people there, but I am POSITIVE it would have been way more chaotic without this lady!!! ;)
I loved celebrating such a special day with our family and friends! We are so abundantly blessed with such wonderful people, who love us and our children! It was so much fun and may it be one of many many more to come!! I looked forward to what the next year holds for my little baby boy! Fun times!!
Next party is Ada Grayce in February! She's already picked out what she wants...only she has picked 4 different themes, so we will see in a couple months what she settles on! ;) Great thing is all our children are spaced 4 months apart, so I have 4 months of planning time!! ;)
