Happy Birthday, Grayson!

My baby boy! 10 seems so big. Double digits. I can't wrap my mind around it. I can't believe our time together with you at home is already more than half over.  And I am so grateful to have been there for every single little and big thing with you over the last 10 years. You have taught me so very much in your 10 years and I hope and pray we have done the same for you! You are such a gift and the perfect boy to lead this crew of siblings and teach us as much about parenthood as you can. You are by far, the most inquisitive, knowledgeable, curious, hard working, and vocal boy I have ever known. You can carry on a conversation with just about anyone about anything. Watching you grow has been amazing. It's bittersweet, sure, but also so full of the best memories, that I wouldn't trade for anything. I love the tenderness you occasionally let slip out towards me (like when you whisper in my ear that you really did appreciate the notes I managed to sneak in your bag at camp). Thank you. I love that you let me love you hard, because I want to do nothing else with my life. I'm so glad you're as happy homeschooling and you love it. I believe there are such amazing things waiting for you in this big world and I know you will go after them with your whole heart. Keep soaking up the knowledge your dad shares with you. He is such a gift to you. Keep building that strong relationship with your brother and sisters. Yall have such a cool bond and I hope it stays that way for many many years. This year holds many new exciting things, I'm sure and I look forward to each and every day finding these things with you. My sweet boy, I love you. Thank you for letting me love you. This has been the most incredible 10 years and I hope you have the happiest day. Happy Birthday, Grayson!

This year, Grayson decided he would like a real treehouse, so he made his supply list, he and dad did the shopping and spent a weekend building this masterpiece. It's cool! And he's happy!
