Edisto 2018

If you know me well, you know that Edisto Beach is one of my happy places...I can't say the only happy place, because if my people are there, anywhere is a happy place. But I look so forward to our few days at Edisto each year. It's time to get away, marvel at small snipit of God's creation and enjoy some relaxing, agenda free time with my people. We camped at the the state park this year and we will for sure (already booked next years stay) be making this "our spot". It was an amazing few days full of beach sounds, bike riding, camp fires, beaching and family time. We even had the joy of David and April coming over from Beaufort on their boat to spend the day. It was the best. <3
Getting all set up! The kids are so helpful unloading and pushing baby sister around while we get everything up and going.

First trip down to the water included some creature hunting and shell finding and feet in the water. They of course had a hard time just looking and it turned into more of a mini swim. Ha! Analeigh hasn't been to the beach since she started walking, and boy was she going! She was thrilled with every bit of it! The water, the shells, the sand, the freedom...Mommy's girl! <3

Meals included walking tacos, hotdogs and all kinds of bad food you shouldn't eat on a regular occasion! Time was filled with bike riding, games, hammock swinging and just hanging out.

Beach day #2! :)

Annual visit to the little playground area and of course a stop for ice cream and a car ride nap for everyone!

puzzles, games, and cowboys!

Evenings around the fire were so fun!

Breakfast out and a day with April and David! So much relaxed good fun was had. :)

our family in shells <3 Ada and Grady had a blast finding and lining these up.

Botany Bay. We love this place. The shells are amazing and the natural beauty is breath taking!

My favorites! <3

Saying good bye is always the hardest part. Packed up, a quick stop for coffee and few minutes at the playground and then back to reality.

Until next time, Edisto!
