"Love the Earth and it will love you back"
This year began a new tradition for us! We camped at the state park for Earth Day weekend and had the best time. The little one and I actually slept at home but spent the days there, because the nights were still a bit chilly for her. But what a wonderful time was had by everyone. There's something to be said for the simplicity of life when you just settle for a few days, enjoying the very beauty of nature and all that it has to offer. It's so simple and uncomplicated. The kids are in their element, for sure. There was lots of bike riding, short hikes, fishing, hot dog eating, sandbox playing and more bike riding. It was just a good quiet time and every trip we take, I think everyone's bond gets just a little stronger. This trip really got us excited for summer and all the adventures ahead!
