That being said...In the last four weeks, we have visited a car shop 6 times. Six. I don't mean to sound whiny but for a daddy who runs his own business and a taxi driving mama, trying to plan around one car mishap after another at the last minute is a major...major...lesson in patience and flexibility! Ser-ee-us-ly! Eeek. Not to mention, trying to fit in doctor appointments that can't be rescheduled. So, yesterday as my car began to act up, AGAIN...literally 20 seconds after I told Chris how well it was doing, I just had to laugh (after we made it home safely that is). Really?! And each time, my patient loving husband has found a way to get it to the shop and rearrange his schedule so the kids could still be where they needed to be. Without complaint. Have I ever mentioned what a wonderful man I married??!
The past few weeks have been a huge lesson in flexibility for the Powells! Whew! My poor husband could probably take off running and never look back! Ha ;) Flexibility as defined by Webster is...
The ability to be easily modified.
Willingness to change or compromise.
The quality of bending easily without breaking.
So now that we have the car back and we have what we hope is the last..and hopefully a good news appointment with our little one tomorrow, I'm kinda hoping we got the point! Be willing to change and you can bend without breaking! ;) God's been working on me...BE FLEXIBLE...that's what I got from it. Trust ME. So, just remember...2 Corinthians 12:9 "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." I've been WEAK Yall! And His grace has found me each and every time, over and over throughout the day. So thankful that even in my weakness, He's shown me that when I'm not in control (much to my discomfort), He will not leave me and He loves me and covers me with grace that I so don't deserve. <3 So, here's to a more flexible me! Thank you, God for the lessons you teach me everyday! :)
