Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom was our fourth and final Disney park. And, not planned, but we did visit them in the order they were built. ;) Animal Kingdom was the fourth of the Disney parks to open in 1998, and is the largest of the four. It is entirely focused on animal conservation. And in our opinion, it was GREAT! The kids were totally into this one!

Kilimanjaro Safari was so entertaining for the kids. They really put a lot into making the atmosphere authentic. They had a blast and we saw lots of animals...I won't post pics of everything we saw, but it was a fun time.

 Yummy yummy food! ;)
 The Tree of Life
Off to Rafiki's Planet Watch!

Animal Kingdom definitely seemed like a favorite for my kids. I really think it had a lot to do with the Wilderness Explorer program. They had a blast going from station to station to earn badges. We certainly didn't have a chance to get them all, but we got as many as we could. It's an awesome program for the little ones and teaches them a lot! Nothing like a little learning while your on vacation. And if you know my oldest...you know how much he loves to acquire new knowledge, so he thoroughly enjoyed himself...not to mention "Up" is on his top five favorite movies list! ;)

Characters we met:
*Rafiki
*Dug and Russel
*Pocahontas
Pocahontas was definitely one of my favorite Princesses to meet! She was so so sweet to Ada and included the boys, even though they wouldn't get too close. ;) She was fantastic!

These two were wonderful as well! Really made your wait to meet them worth it! :)

 Grady's ROOAARR! ;)

The kids could have spent the night in the The Boneyard! :)
One gift shop treat from mom and dad. :) Last taste of Disney before we headed home. :( We really could have stayed 7 more days. It was an amazingly fun time! We enjoyed each park, and already have anticipation for our next trip there. The kids are still talking about it daily! So many wonderful wonderful memories we made! <3

Until next time! <3
