Epcot!

Tuesday of our vacation, was a super special fun day! It was the day our sweet princess turned 5! I still can't believe she is 5, but she is and we celebrated in a big way! ;) She could hardly sleep the night before thinking about it! :)

The first thing we did Tuesday morning was go to Downtown Disney for a visit to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique getting her hair and nails done. What a treat! :) She loved it! The boys played at the dinosaur store and Lego store while we enjoyed every minute of her princess treatment! ;)

Then it was an afternoon at Epcot. Epcot is the second of the four parks to be built. It's all about technology innovations and international culture. It's divided into the Future World and World Showcase. I do so wish we had more time here! The technology innovations part is right up Grayson's alley, and the World Showcase had all of us intrigued...especially Daddy. It was a fun place but so spread out that we really didn't feel like we got to see too much.

We planned to eat Akershus Royal Banquet Hall so Ada could get up close to some of her favorite princesses on her day. This turned out to be so fun! Ada participated in a princess parade around the restaurant, when Princess Aurora taught her how to curtsy properly, Daddy was intrigued by the Norwegian atmosphere, people, and food, and the meal was absolutely wonderful!! :)

After a late lunch with the princesses we set out to see what we could get into! We saw the Circle of Life, rode Journey into Imagination with Figment (Grayson really liked!), The Seas with Nemo and Friends, and did Turtle Talk with Crush. Turtle Talk was absolutely great! Really enjoyed that, and Grayson even got to talk to him during the program so that was a treat!

Characters we met:
*Mickey
*Minnie
*Goofy (or Goopy as Grady says)
*And of course all the princesses at the restaurant

We stayed for the fireworks, which were phenomenal..and really, what better way to end your birthday than fireworks?! ;) The kids and adults REALLY enjoyed this fireworks show!

If you haven't had the experience of seeing them, you must! So here ya go! :)
That's a wrap on our adventures at Epcot! Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom still to come :) And I can't leave out our day at Legoland...it was AWESOME! ;)
