Sunshine and Summer Wishes!

The sun's shinning, it's been in the 80's, the kids are begging to get out the pool, 6 more units in school, First grade material has arrived, Spring cleaning has begun, baseball season has started, beach trip is on the mind, and Summer will officially happen in the Powell house very soon!

I am absolutely giddy over the fact that Grayson and I have almost completed his Kindergarten year and what a successful first year of homeschooling it has been! There was the occasional battle of the wills in the beginning, but once he realized he wouldn't win, and that we were going to do school everyday, he has come to really really enjoy our learning time. And it has been amazing watching him change and grow throughout the year! The big kids already plan days they will have next year when they are "in school together". And,honestly, I am looking very forward to it! We will do a little space making and school space makeover and organizing this summer and we will be ready to go in August! :)

Summer is a fun time! Relaxing (as relaxed as it can be with three kids) time! Most of our time is spent outside playing in the water, playing at the park, going to VBS and eating lots of yummy fresh fruit! And this year we get to add potty training, swim lessons, and gymnastics to the calendar! What fun! :) 

So with Summer anticipation on the mind, we gladly welcome April. Spring is finally finally here and Summer is right around the corner! Yippee! :)
