This week has been ordinary...day-to-day...but extraordinarily ordinary! There's a quote I love..."If you are really looking, the average daily occurrence becomes an amazingly magical moment." ...YES! It really does!
I loved taking the time to really look at what beautiful bonds these three kids have. I hope that they always always love each other and are there for one another! Grady experienced bubbles for the first time this week...he approves! ;)
I have had a serious sewing itch, so in the evenings after bedtime, I did just that! I sewed! And it was so fun!! Her favorite was the knit twirly skirt! Watching her twirl and dance and marvel at her skirt was so lovely! She is pure beauty and the sweetest heart!
The big kids visited the dentist! That went amazing! Ada had a traumatic experience at 6 months old and had to have a defective tooth pulled...she doesn't remember it, but we do...yuck! The great news is that the x-rays showed there is an adult tooth under the gum where the defective tooth was! That's a relief! :) And Grayson got a great report, and a suggestion that he may be losing lots of teeth in the next few months! One that may be this week! ;) This makes him super excited! Watching these little people grow into big kids is bittersweet! I love seeing their personality, accomplishment, excitement...but it sure is hard to let them grow!
Grayson is becoming quite comical! He has always had a very outgoing personality, and lately that seems to be blossoming even more! He is an amazingly bright kid, who has found his funny bone! Grady is determined to be like them, and all too quickly he is moving that direction! :(
The weather was beautiful most of the week....we spent a lot of time outside enjoying it!! Talk about extraordinary!! ;)
Grayson had his last basketball game of the season and got him a little trophy! He was very proud and also very proud to have his Papa and Rosey there to watch! That was a fun day!
It was a wonderful week full of magically ordinary moments, and what a privilege it was just to enjoy them and soak them up!! Perfect. :)
