Today was all about the simple things...and in doing the simple things, I was reminded of just how extraordinary the simple things are. Watching my three children play, imagine and deepen their relationship. Watching my daughter notice her shadow on the ground, and strike a gymnastics pose just to see what she looked like. Listening to the giggles on the trampoline. Observing as my growing up boy takes apart broken toys to see what the inside looks like and "fix" them. Seeing the sweet smile and hearing the best laugh as the water rinses the hair of my dirty from head-to- toe, baby boy. Those are the moments that remind me just how quickly time is passing and just how wonderful each day is. It's hard sometimes, with a growing to do list and so much happening at one time, to always really appreciate those little things. But when I slow down and just watch and listen, I am so blessed. Life is so beautiful.
