Valentine’s Day used to be a “couples day” for us. We would get each other little gifts and go to dinner....it’s been many years now since that has happened, it’s become a family love day and we like it that way! We started several years ago, when the kids got a little older, fixing a fancy meal, making each other valentine’s, and eating by candle light. It’s a fun tradition that continued this year.
The kids worked hard on their valentine’s to send grandparents and out of town family. Ada helped me do some of the food planning and shopping for our family meal, and it was fun! We decided on a chocolate fondue bar so we got all kinds of dippers (rice crispie treats, bananas, strawberries, pretzels, sugar wafers, pineapple and marshmallows), a couple different chocolates and made a meal of it! We threw in a meat and cheese tray to make it semi healthy. Ha! ;)
It was a fun evening with my very favorites on earth! ❤️
