Halloween 2016

Halloween has come and gone! We had a blast planning and enjoying the day. A while back, after a family discussion, everyone decided they would be ninja turtles. It turned out pretty cute and they loved it! And even baby got to participate. ;)

It felt like this morning when we woke, that the holiday season has officially begun! November is a month of real season change in the south, even though it's been Autumn for a while. It's a month of reflection and thanksgiving, family and fun. It's definitely a favorite of ours! It's an effortless month of gratitude, because we are for sure not lacking in things to be thankful for, and as wonderful as Christmas is, Thanksgiving involves no hustle and bustle, no extensive planning or gift buying (however, I do actually enjoy those things! ;)... it is just quiet, calm, and wonderful. And this November may just be even more special if our little baby decides to make this his/her birthday month! :) Either way we are looking forward to this month and season! Happy November to you!
