What A Difference A Week Makes!

What a marvelous last few days we have had here! A small taste of Spring! 70s and sunshine!!! So wonderful! Last week we were covered in ice and this week we got to break out the shorts!! (Not me, but the kids...I don't break out shorts. Ever.) The kids loved being outside and soaking up these beautiful days...and I have to admit, we are all much more tolerable of one another when we can spread out! ;) and Grady is at that age of exploration. He never stops. He isn't completely familiar with all of the brilliance of outside yet, so when I let him loose, he goes and goes and goes, until he has seen it all.
We needed this! We needed the sunshine. We needed the reassurance that Spring WILL come. We needed the anticipation of Summer, sprinklers, Popsicles, fresh fruit and beach trips! I can already see it! I just can't wait!!!
Incredibly thankful, today, for the slow and steady change of the seasons!

"For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven" (Ecclesiastes 3:1)

Last week...

and this week!

Last week...and this week! She dug through her spring clothes basket with all her "oohhs and ahhhs", just like a princess girl! ;)
Beautiful baby boy has been LOVING the sunshine!!

And last side-by-side...last week and this week! He was thrilled to dig out some shorts! He has grown waaayy too much since last year, but he was fine with them! Spring shopping in our future! ;)
