Here's to 30!

I know, if you follow along, that you are aware my husband and I are high school sweethearts. God blessed me with his love, this relationship, and our life at an early age, and I couldn't be more thankful. I often refer to him as my rock...he is. He is my strong, selfless, hard working, incredible, spiritually sound, ever present rock. I don't know what my life would be without him, and really, I don't want to know!
Well, all that being said, Chris celebrated his 30th birthday yesterday! We both keep looking at each other at random times and saying that out loud! 30!! This is weird sounding...how did this happen!? These two teenagers are now both celebrating our 30th birthdays this year!!! WHAT?!? I guess the saying is true...time flies when your having fun! And I can honestly say, it's been fun!!!
We had a small celebration...sort of a surprise, since he wouldn't knowingly let me celebrate, I just made an executive decision to celebrate anyway! ;) He deserves a whole lot more than a surprise get together, but it was low key, laid back, and fun! Kinda his style! ;)

Our 20's were full of life changes and excitement! We graduated college, bought our first house, got married, had our three beautiful children, bought a second house, started a business...and those were just the "big" things! The "big" things were woven together by love, laughter, and life... that's what got us from one year to the next! Pretty amazing, packed full 10 years! I can't imagine what the 30's hold for him, and us, but I know that we will do it together, and enjoy every step of the way!

He is the most wonderful man I have ever known, I love him more than words could say, and I wish him the very very happiest birthday ever! Here's to 30! May it be a wonderful one! :)
