I maybe went a little overboard, but it was extremely fun! ;)
He painted a little door for the Tooth Fairy...he says it's just her size and very quiet! ;) He had so many questions all day!! Is she a fairy godmother size fairy or Tinkerbell size? How will she get in? What will she leave? What does she do with the teeth?...we decided Tinkerbell size...she uses her magic to get in and she will leave fun surprises and really we have no idea what she does with the teeth! ;)
The Tooth Fairy left some cool treats and a letter just for him! Sprinkled in pixie dust of course! ;) (really just extra fine glitter!) He was so very extremely excited when he went to bed tonight!! He can not wait! His last comment was "I hope she doesn't tickle me with her wings!"
So we had our fun and I can't wait to see his excitement in the morning after his very first Tooth Fairy visit!! :)
I think I will let this double as my thankfulness post also! I am thankful to get this opportunity. To be a part of such a magical time. To help make their early years happy and carefree. Childhood comes and goes so very fast. I hope when he looks back, he too (along with the others) will be thankful, also for the "magic" and happiness of their childhood!
